About Greencliffe Taverns

Greencliffe Taverns is family owned and run company. Twin brothers Nick and Chris Green are the proprietors of three of the Yorkshires finest historical pubs.

and an outside catering company.

Having worked in the Restaurant industry for many years, Nick and Chris formed Greencliffe Taverns in 2004 and have won many awards along the way.

We are proud of our pubs and particularly strive to produce really good home made food whilst preserving the traditional pub feel. It is our aim to create a welcoming environment where we would like to take our families and in which everybody feels comfortable whether you are 2 or 92, drinking alone or eating with friends. Although the core values of each of the three pubs remains constant, the style of food served and the menus aim to reflect the unique aspects each one has to offer and the guests they attract.

It is our belief that Yorkshire is the finest county in which to have a pub business given the wealth of high quality produce available on our doorstep. Wherever possible our foods are sourced locally, supporting Yorkshire farmers and fishermen. This, along with a fantastic team, the fabulous settings in which our pubs sit and the discerning folk who frequent them, make for a truly unique experience.
